The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will own quality across the product lifecycle, from early requirements and test strategy to deployment and production monitoring. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and security.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for our products.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases across mobile and web platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests suites.
  • Participate in planning, story writing, and release sign-off with a strong voice for quality.
  • Proactively identify, document, and track bugs, regressions, and edge cases.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing infrastructure.
  • Mentor other QAs and cross-functional team members, sharing best practices and helping build a strong quality-first culture.

Tech Stack

  • For the backend, we use C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, MSSQL
  • For web frontend, we use ReactJS and TypeScript
  • For mobile, we use Kotlin Multiplatform
  • We use Azure for our cloud services, along with GitHub and Octopus Deploy for CI/CD

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
  • Proven expertise with automated testing frameworks and test case design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into release cycles.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development and QA best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with security, compliance, or performance testing.
  • Domain experience in government services, identity platforms, or payment processing.

Key Deliverables

1 Month:

  • Successfully onboard to the team and product.
  • Gain hands-on knowledge of current product behavior by executing manual smoke and exploratory tests.
  • Review existing test coverage and begin writing and running manual and automated test cases.
  • Establish relationships with team members and the client.

2 Months:

  • Fully own the QA process, proactively validating stories before release, logging bugs, and verifying fixes.
  • Identify high-value areas to automate and begin expanding the test suite accordingly.
  • Improve test documentation and identify process gaps.
  • Begin mentoring peers, reviewing test cases and helping build testing strategies.

3 Months:

  • Lead end-to-end QA for your product team, balancing manual validation and automation to meet release timelines confidently.
  • Optimize regression and exploratory testing processes across devices and environments.
  • Introduce or improve tooling that accelerates QA feedback loops (e.g., test case reuse, reporting dashboards, or test data management).
  • Establish a reputation as a reliable final checkpoint for quality before deployment.

Interview Process

Our hiring process is designed to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and problem-solving abilities in a structured and transparent manner:

  1. Resume Review: Upon submission, our team will evaluate each resume based on relevant experience, domain knowledge, and competency
  2. Phone Screen: A conversation with the candidate to confirm competencies from their resume and assess cultural fit.
  3. Take-Home Exercise: A practical challenge to evaluate the candidate's problem-solving skills and productivity in a domain-relevant scenario.
  4. Review & Technical Interview: A discussion between our team and the candidate to review the take-home exercise, provide feedback, and evaluate interpersonal and technical characteristics.
  5. Final Decision: Our team collaborates to create a holistic assessment of the candidate in order to provide them with constructive feedback.
